A band with no uniforms ... until Daphne marched in!

Daphne Enmon combined her roles as Box Tops coordinator and Band Booster last year to help
fund uniforms for the award-winning Jean Childs Young Middle School marching band. The
Atlanta public school band has an impressive list of awards and accolades from competitions
around the country. And now, with Daphne’s help, the kids are outfitted in matching uniforms
to really wow the crowds.
Daphne’s son is involved with the band and plays percussion. She sees the band as a motivating
activity for the students and the community, and she’s so proud of their achievements. We’re
proud of Daphne in helping raise the $500 last year to purchase new uniforms!
This school year, Daphne plans to give back to teachers. She’ll use the funds to purchase
classroom supplies for those teachers at Young Middle School who have been proactive in
collecting Box Tops in their classrooms.
