Are we really getting credit for Reading Room parchases?

I made a Reading Room purchase in Fedruary. The credit appeared for my school on April 15, but dissapeared on May 1. The amount is not appearing in this year's total or last year's total. I contacted Box Tops via contact form, but have only received vague answers. I would make all of my book purchases through Box Tops, if I thought the school would get credit, but looks like this is not the case.

Anyone know why this would be?

The Box Tops website resets at $0 on May 15th.  Usually the weeks prior to the web update, there are lots of "technical difficulties."  So that might be the reason it went "away."  However, with all that being said, I am not sure why, at this point, you are not seeing it in your last years numbers.  I know they are doing a lot to promote the Reading Room, so I would hope the credits are being made.  Hopefully someone else may have some answers for us :-)

Also it takes time for BTFE to credit it to the school, then take so long to credit it to the website, then wait till it updates the site for us. & they just reset all webpages for the new Box Top calendar year. It'll probally go on 2009/2010 years & be crdited to your school in the Dec. 2009 check!

i called them last week about a few things and this was one of them.  marketplace is only updated TWICE a year.  just before the april and december checks.  so, you won't see anything about marketplace money on your site until sometime in december.  the lady told me that they don't even update the site with the numbers until just before the checks are mailed.

good luck.  maybe what she said is true.  maybe not.  humm....

The strange thing is that we did get credit for the purchase in April, but it went away in May. The amount does not appear in this year or last year.
