My daughter received 5 of these books for x-mas and they are wonderful for tween girls. They are christian based but are relevent in topics such as self esteem, puberty and relationships. They also have non-fiction companion books that can be purchased and used as a parenting tool. My 8 yr old daughter loves these books and they have opened up great talks between the 2 of us. Zondervan is the publisher of these books.
