Collection sheet question

I was talking to my coordinator and she said that if we collect on sheets the boxtops need to be cut off to be turned in. I never got that impression and wanted to see how others handeled this.

RE: Collection sheet question

They most definately do NOT need to be taken off the collection sheets. Please tell your coordinator to read the section (in coordinator kit or FAQS on coordinator site).

How do I submit collection sheets?     Leave the Box Tops on the collection sheets. Please submit collection sheets in groups of 50 Box Tops (e.g., a stack of 5 10-count collection sheets, a stack of 2 25-count collection sheets).

RE: Collection sheet question

Under the clip and save area there are collection projects which are the sheets. I do believe most of them can be colored. The kids at our school really seems to love them. It is a lot easier to count as well. All you have to do is make sure that there are not expired box tops on the sheets and then stack them into groups of 50 box tops (2X25 sheets or 5X10 collection sheets).

RE: Collection sheet question

What do you do with the expired?  Do you cut those off or just not count them?  Do you need to replace the expired with one that isn't?  Our school hasn't used collection sheets yet but I'm taking over as coordinator in a few months and want to try anything and everything to boost our colletion.

RE: Collection sheet question

I rip them off or if they don't come off I cover them up with a non-expired box top.
