I have earned over $65.00 by using MarketPlace for my online shopping
I have used Highlights magazine & Lands End. Most of what I buy from Lands End is on sale. And I try to get free shipping as often as I can which expands my savings.

I use Oriental Trading to purchase the little prizes for our school's top earning class. So I'm earning Box Tops while buying gifts for the kids that bring in the most boxtops. lol I also do all my Staples shopping through the marketplace, and Disney.com, Avon...it all adds up.
Now if we could just get all the teachers to do the same. Then we'd really be adding up them pennies!

I am looking at prizes for our contests next year. I will have to look at OTC. I have been getting quite a few offers of free shipping lately.
Thanks for the ideas for the prize box.

I've done well with Marketplace too
One of the hats I wear for my employer is that of supply orderer. For just the current school year I have managed to earn my school $142.67. My boss is aware of what I'm doing & it's not costing us any more $$ so why not? I've also put of a collection box in the lunchroom to collect boxtops & campbells labels & have gotten quite a good response from my co-workers. And my dad is an avid purchaser of books so I've gotten him to start using this site too. I'll do anything to keep my tuition costs from rising :)

I never see the credits I have earned from Highlights products and Barnes and Noble books.
Are they ever posted in our totals? How do I know they are going to BT's?

I was using the marketplace site to do my shopping until I started to notice that I was not being credited for some of my purchases. Threee times now I have faxed all the information into the exceptions department, but no response. From now on, I am just going to give the school a check instead of going through the hassle of shopping through the marketplace. That way I know my school will get the money.

For the second collection period, I got the winning class pencils that say "Box Tops Champions 2008 - 2009" on them. Oriental Trading had the pencils on clearance and the personalization was free. I got them and another batch with our last name on them for my child to use in class.
The clearance section is terrific for getting really great bargains and they often lower their minimum for free shipping now. I've seen it at $35 or $40 -- which isn't hard to spend!

Did you ever get an answer on how to see credits that your school should be getting from Barnes & Noble? I have spent a good bit with B&N but have not been able to figur eout how to see that our school is getting credit for these purchases.

It does take some time to see your earnings credited. For instance we're in April now but the site is only showing up to February for my purchases. To see the amount your school was credited click on MarketPlace then scroll down a little & look for "See my marketplace earnings" This will break it down for you by month/year & total overall. Hope this helps. I'm a firm believer in purchasing through the MarketPlace. It's free money - you just have to be patient.
