Goofy Face Soup

What fun! Refrigerated biscuits, flattened just a bit, are just right to create funny faces to top a steaming bowl of soup.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10.2 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Homestyle refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (5 biscuits)
  • 2 cans (18 to 19 oz each) any flavor Progresso® soup

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Separate dough into 5 biscuits; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press or roll each biscuit to form 5-inch round. Cut slits on top of 1 side of each biscuit to look like hair. With small round cookie cutter, cut holes for mouth and eyes; remove cutout pieces from holes. Use cutout pieces for ears and/or nose.
  2. Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, heat soup as directed on can. Spoon soup into wide shallow bowls. Top each serving with biscuit head.

Recipe Tip:

Substitution

Don't have a small round cookie cutter? Use the top of a salt shaker or use small canapé cutters.
