If you don't explain how important it is to your child that they need to speak up when they have a problem with someone or something at school, It is going to get worse.  Parents that have to write notes and make phone calls are ridiculous, kids need to know how to take care of problems, there are plenty more to come.  They need to know that mommy and daddy can't just write a note to the teacher or bus driver when there's something annoying or wrong happening.  It's just a thought and also something I do.Idea

GRLSX2 Have you thought as a parent maybe your child did speak up and no-one listened. And for a First grader it is MOMMY & DADDY'S responcablity to take care of these things, many by face to face with a Teacher, Bus driver & Prencaple. It is not ridiculous to take care of your Kindergartner, First, Second, Third,Fourth,Fifth,Sixth grader. NOW from middle school through High school yes they should be able to take care of the problem.
