Together, we can help!

As families across the country continue to dive head-first into home-schooling, we're appreciating our teachers more than ever. Let's face it: They're invaluable. And parents have a lot to say about it!

We want to give these hard-working teachers a little extra credit. Last week for Teacher Appreciation Week, Box Tops for Education partnered with Chance The Rapper for the first-ever Twilight Awards, where we donated $300,000 to teachers and schools. We also donated $100,000 to Social Works, Chance's non-profit organization, which aims to empower youth through arts, education and civic engagement.

Teacher Appreciation Week may be over, but Box Tops for Education is encouraging families to #GiveExtraCredit to teachers all month long. Teachers are still at the heart of how our children learn. That’s why Box Tops for Education is donating $100,000 to SupplyATeacher.org, a program of Kids in Need Foundation, to help teachers continue doing what they do best and giving families an opportunity to give some extra credit of their own.

Do you know a teacher going above and beyond? Families can recognize a special teacher in their lives with the hashtag #GiveExtraCredit on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, and Box Tops for Education will donate an additional $1 to SupplyATeacher.org for every post in the month of May, up to an additional $50,000.
